St Pete Vacation Homes was founded by Brian, whose vision and dedication helped build a thoughtfully curated collection of homes designed to offer guests a truly elevated stay. Today, the portfolio brings together a blend of Brian’s properties along with a collection of homes created and designed by Stephanie—combining experience, creativity, and a shared commitment to exceptional hospitality.

Stephanie
Stephanie brings the heart, creativity, and vision behind every home. Raised as an Army brat, she spent her life moving from place to place before eventually marrying a Marine—so adaptability and resilience have always been part of her story. After years in the Washington, D.C. area, she later made the move to Wilmington, North Carolina, before helping grow the Florida portfolio you see today.
Stephanie is the creative force behind each and every home—and quite literally, every detail you see has been thoughtfully selected by her. From furniture and color palettes to artwork, décor, and finishing touches, she has personally curated each space with a designer’s eye and a passion for creating environments that feel both elevated and inviting.
With a natural talent for interior design, Stephanie stays closely in tune with evolving trends and is constantly refreshing and refining the homes to keep them feeling current, stylish, and memorable. Her goal is simple: that every guest walks in and immediately feels like they’ve arrived somewhere special.
Outside of hosting, Stephanie’s greatest passion is animal rescue. In her free time, she and her husband have fostered over 50 homeless dogs—most recently caring for an abandoned mother and her five-day-old puppies. It’s a cause that is deeply meaningful to her and reflects the same care and compassion she brings to every guest experience.
Jane
Jane has been an integral part of St Pete Vacation Homes from the very beginning. As our trusted real estate broker, she played a key role in identifying and securing many of the homes in our portfolio. She has also been deeply involved in the renovation process and continues to play a critical role in ongoing operations.
A Tampa Bay native, Jane was born and raised in the area and brings invaluable local knowledge to everything she does. She is truly our “boots on the ground”—ensuring each home is guest-ready, managing details behind the scenes, and helping maintain the high standards our guests expect.
Jane is also someone we deeply admire on a personal level. As a single mom, she raised two incredible sons on her own—both of whom have grown into exceptional young men. Her strength, work ethic, and dedication shine through in everything she does.
She now lives in downtown St. Petersburg, right in the heart of the city we love, and is an invaluable part of what makes this business run so smoothly.
Brian
Brian is the founder and driving force behind St Pete Vacation Homes. He served 30 years in the United States Army and is a graduate of West Point (USMA), where leadership, discipline, and integrity were instilled early on. During his military career, Brian was stationed in the Washington, D.C. area, where he and Stephanie spent nearly two decades owning and managing furnished rental condos.
Rather than traditional long-term rentals, these were monthly furnished stays designed for business professionals traveling to Washington, D.C. for work—an experience that closely mirrors hospitality, yet operates very differently from today’s vacation rental model.
Brian was working inside the Pentagon on September 11th—a moment that profoundly shaped his life and perspective. He retired shortly after and, together with Stephanie, made the decision to leave Arlington and begin a new chapter in Florida.
After relocating, they transitioned into the world of vacation homes. While there were similarities, the Airbnb space brought an entirely new set of challenges. Over the past 10 years, they have refined their approach and grown into a top-tier operation known for consistency, quality, and guest satisfaction.
Alex
He is incredibly capable and resourceful—able to troubleshoot, repair, and resolve just about anything that comes up—ensuring our homes are always in top condition for our guests. His responsiveness and reliability play a huge role in maintaining the high standards we pride ourselves on.
Alex lives nearby in Seminole, Florida, which allows him to be readily available whenever needed. He was recently engaged, and we couldn’t be more excited for him as he begins this next chapter. Between his technical expertise, positive attitude, and commitment to excellence, Alex is a key part of what makes the St Pete Vacation Homes experience so smooth and dependable.
